The announcement of the cooperation was made by Izham Ismail, the Group Managing Director of Malaysia Aviation Group, at a significant industry trade show in Kuala Lumpur. To celebrate the news, former Manchester United defenders Patrice Evra and Wes Brown flew to Kuala Lumpur to share their experiences as players and club ambassadors.

During a recent occasion, Victoria Timpson, the CEO of Alliances and Partnerships at Manchester United, gave a speech in which she highlighted the football club’s longstanding and proud connection with Malaysia. Timpson mentioned that the club has a passionate support base across the country, with three official Malaysian fan clubs. She also noted that the Kuala Lumpur branch has one of the largest supporter communities in the club, which reflects the nation’s passion for all things Manchester United.
